dailycarlocator & Car Buying Guides ("dailycarlocator") is committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor, subscriber, and advisory client. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is stored, and the rights you hold over it.

1. Information Collection and Storage

dailycarlocator & Car Buying Guides ("dailycarlocator") respects visitor privacy. Information collected through form submissions or newsletter subscriptions is utilized exclusively to provide requested automotive advisory services.

We do not require account registration to browse vehicle guides, compare listings, or read editorial content. Personal information is collected only when you voluntarily provide it — such as submitting a contact form, requesting a consultation, or subscribing to our newsletter. We never collect payment card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive financial data through this website.

2. LocalStorage Usage

Newsletter subscription records are retained locally within your web browser using HTML5 LocalStorage under the key dailycarlocator_newsletter_emails. We do not transmit local device subscriber records to external advertising networks.

Because this data lives entirely on your own device, it cannot be accessed by us remotely. Clearing your browser cache or site data will permanently remove all stored records. You may also disable LocalStorage in your browser settings, though doing so will limit certain interactive features of the site.

3. Third-Party Web Links

Our website contains links to manufacturer resources and gallery assets. We hold no responsibility for the external privacy practices or content hosted on third-party domains.

Where third-party services are embedded — such as image hosting, font delivery, or icon libraries — those providers may set their own technical cookies, which are governed by their respective privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies if you have concerns about cross-site behavior.

4. Analytics and Cookies

We use no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no behavioral profiling technologies. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be reviewed internally to understand which guides and articles are most useful to our readers, but this data cannot be traced back to any individual visitor.

Essential session cookies may be used solely to maintain page context and support basic navigation. No personally identifiable tracking data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties under any circumstances.

5. Data Retention

Newsletter subscription data is retained only within your browser's LocalStorage and remains there until you clear it or unsubscribe through our Unsubscribe Service. Contact form submissions are retained for a maximum of 12 months for reference and quality assurance, after which they are permanently deleted.

6. Your Rights

You may modify or request deletion of your stored newsletter email address at any time using our Unsubscribe Service. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also hold the right to access, correct, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the details provided on our Contact page. Requests are processed within 30 days and confirmed by email.

7. Children's Privacy

Our content is intended for general audiences aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always indicate the most recent revision. Continued use of the site following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Welcome to dailycarlocator & Car Buying Guides. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the site.

1. Advisory Disclaimer

All vehicle evaluation guides, inspection templates, and price estimates provided by dailycarlocator & Car Buying Guides are intended for advisory purposes. Final purchasing decisions remain the sole responsibility of the vehicle buyer.

While we strive for accuracy and cite reputable sources wherever possible, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, timeliness, or applicability of any information to your specific vehicle or circumstances. Vehicle markets, dealer pricing, and manufacturer specifications vary significantly by region and are subject to change without notice.

2. Independent Service

dailycarlocator operates independently from vehicle dealerships, finance companies, and auto manufacturers. We do not guarantee vehicle availability or specific dealer sales prices.

We accept no commissions from dealers, financiers, or manufacturers. Our recommendations are driven entirely by data, technical merit, and long-term ownership value. Where a request falls outside our scope, we will tell you directly and — where possible — refer you to a licensed professional who can assist.

3. Intellectual Property

All structured checklist content, branding elements, logo designs, and layout components are protected copyright property of dailycarlocator.

You may share links to our guides and quote brief excerpts with proper attribution for non-commercial purposes. However, republishing full checklists, redistributing inspection templates, or using our branding in a manner that implies endorsement is strictly prohibited. Third-party imagery used throughout the site remains the property of its respective creators under their individual licenses.

4. No Financial or Legal Advice

Nothing published on dailycarlocator constitutes formal legal, tax, financial, or insurance advice. Our editorial content and advisory frameworks are provided strictly for informational and educational purposes. Visitors should consult licensed automotive professionals, attorneys, or financial advisors before entering any vehicle transaction.

5. User Conduct

By using this site, you agree not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of the platform, scrape content at scale, inject malicious code, or interfere with the experience of other visitors. We reserve the right to restrict access to any user who violates these expectations.

6. Limitation of Liability

dailycarlocator & Car Buying Guides, its contributors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or reliance on its content. All information is consumed at your own discretion and risk.

7. Governing Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time without prior notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
